Built in 2015, our facilities have spacious, contemporary living and dining accommodations with a cozy feel. Our easy-to-navigate property features common gathering rooms, including a home-like television lounge, exquisitely landscaped exterior with ample seating, and curated walking paths for residents to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
The Gardens at Arlington Heights is well-known for its wonderful dining options. Residents can choose to enjoy their meals in a small private dining room for maximum comfort or a large communal space for forging new friendships. Meals are prepared from scratch by our on-site Executive Chef, and include relaxing courtyard barbecues, memorable holiday dinners, and meals made with ingredients from our resident-maintained herb and vegetable garden.
Our staff includes first-class RNs, Certified Dementia Practitioners, and LPNs who focus on building compassionate relationships with our residents. Our staff members are selected not only for their professional expertise but also for their commitment to providing exceptional individualized care.
The Gardens at Arlington Heights is also proud to offer our Memory Care residents our award-winning SPARK® program, which was developed in conjunction with the teachings and research of Maria Montessori and Dr. Cameron Camp.
SPARK® is designed to engage our residents with proven rehabilitative strategies that strive to heighten interaction, optimize cognitive skills as well as promote a sense of purpose and accomplishment. We use tailor fit assessment tools to evaluate each resident’s capabilities and strengths, so the program can best meet their specific needs. Residents are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities based on their personal interests and abilities.
At The Gardens at Arlington Heights, SPARK® activities have included pizza parties, gardening, carnivals, holiday celebrations, baking classes, Grandparent’s Day, pet therapy, arts and crafts, lunch outings, parades, group exercise classes, and many other exciting events.
